I work as a creative director and experience designer, helping brands connect with their audiences through thoughtful, well-crafted design. With a background in visual communication, human-centered design, and craftsmanship, I approach my work with a strategic, research-driven mindset and a deep attention to detail at every stage of the process.

I started my career in graphic design and have spent the last 15 years exploring my passion for problem-solving across a range of industries, including exhibition design, creative consultancy, healthcare, technology, CPG, the arts, and small businesses. This journey has allowed me to collaborate with talented professionals from diverse backgrounds and refine my skills as a multifaceted creative.

I continue to nurture my curiosity and expand my knowledge through workshops, courses, and engagement with relevant communities. In 2021, after a decade of working, I returned to school to pursue a Masters in Design for Emergent Futures. This experience broadened my perspective on design, allowing me to explore its intersection with emerging technologies and critical frameworks such as AI, post-human-centered design, inclusive design, low-tech alternatives, and more. I also make an effort to share my knowledge through mentorship sessions for individuals and small brands.

Beyond design, I am deeply connected to craft and cultural heritage. Growing up in Korea, a place rich in artisanal traditions, shaped my appreciation for the rituals and craftsmanship. I have practiced pottery for over a decade, working alongside potters in the mountains of North Carolina and Japan, and continue to explore craft as a form of self-discovery. This hands-on practice informs my design philosophy, reinforcing the importance of process, materiality, and intention in my work.
