Design Your Own Cash

Users design their own personalized currency which features their photo, name, and customized graphics.

The interactive guides the user, takes a portrait with its built in camera, type name,

security pattern, icons, and colors which they learned about in the Art of Money section. At the end of the interactive, the users have the opportunity to send their customized bill to their personal e-mails.

 

What is Money?

Users explore the different forms money has taken throughout history and how each form serves a unique purpose. By navigating a timeline of

They learn fun facts, like the exchange value of historical forms of money in today’s standards. Forms of money include cowrie shells, leather, credit cards, and cryptocurrency.

 

Journey of Money

Visitors turn the wheel at the center of the giant bill to activate and explore the five stages in the journey of money, starting from the Bureau of Printing and Engraving to the shredding of damaged cash. As the user turns the wheel and lands on each stage of the journey, the two circular monitors on each side of the wheel play supporting b-roll footages that display the process offstage from the selected stage.
